We made a survey to 15 people, to let us know the knowledge and the opinion in this topic of the community. With this information we can know how inform the community are of this issue, and therefore have a breaking point when we can star.
We got 20 responses in the survey related to the topic, Of 20 responses 20 was under a range of age of 18 to 25 years old. These means that a 100% of our surveyed are young adults. As we show in figure 1

Of this 20 surveyed 15 of them were women, 4 of them where man and only one of them were none of them. As we show in figure 2

Finally we made an occupation question, to know the level of studies of our surveyed, this will give us and idea of how easy they can access in to the information. As we show in figure 3

The question “Do you think rural areas are more dangerous than urban?” is because there is a high level of doubt about this topic due to the fact that living in urban areas are very modern and have many more expensive objects to lose but there is also a security system more advanced than in rural areas. As we show in figure 4

The second question was to understand why do people think rural areas are dangerous or even if they don´t why do they think is the cause of death there due to the lack of services they have in comparison to rural areas, and understand their point view. As we show in figure 5

Have you ever consider that living in a urban areas in the united states can´t be safe?, due to the problems that have been happening on the news, people are starting to question the safety on the urban areas, we wanted to know if they think the same being the viewers. As we show in figure 6

We asked the following question: “What do you think is the main cause of death in america?” to know more about the kind of information there is in the news and how this can make their opinion bias or in some cases be correct due to the information found recently, the survey made us realize that there can be more cases in urban areas than rural.
We asked the following: “Do you believe that the US could decrease the number of death rates by 2020?” to know more about what the people can gather through the type of information shown on the news lately, the survey showed us that there is either no improvement that could change death rates in the US or that they think that it’s nearly impossible to decrease the numbers. As we show in figure 7

We asked the question: why? which was linked to the previous question, “Do you believe that the US could decrease the number of death rates by 2020?”, to know more about their opinion on the topic and gather information depending on how much do they really know on the situation in that specific country.
